Position : Collection Attorney – High-Volume Caseload

Location : Towson, Maryland

Employment Type : Full-Time

Salary Range : $60,000 – $110,000, depending on experience

Small Towson law firm with a strong focus on real estate, finance, and creditor representation is seeking an experienced Collection Attorney to manage a high-volume docket of consumer and commercial debt collection matters.

Responsibilities :

• Handle all phases of collection litigation, from demand through post-judgment enforcement
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery in consumer and commercial collection cases
• Represent clients in court appearances, hearings, and trials across various jurisdictions
• Manage a high-volume caseload efficiently and in compliance with client guidelines and applicable laws
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
• Monitor case status and ensure timely progression of matters through the litigation process

Requirements :

Ideal Candidate :

The ideal candidate is efficient, organized, and well-versed in collection litigation practices. They are able to manage a heavy caseload with attention to detail and accuracy, meet performance targets, and work independently while staying responsive to client needs and deadlines. A working knowledge of collections regulations and compliance protocols is essential.
