Job Title : Chief Nursing Officer

Location : Bronx, New York

Duration : 2 months (+ Extension)

Rate : $ 122-126 / Hourly / W2

Shift : 9 AM 5 PM EST

Job Role :

As the CNO, you will be responsible for setting the strategic direction for nursing, ensuring the highest standards of patient care, and fostering a collaborative environment that empowers our nursing staff. Your leadership will be pivotal in shaping our organizational culture, enhancing clinical outcomes, and driving excellence in nursing practice.

Responsibilities :

Develop and implement nursing strategies that align with the organization's mission and

goals, ensuring quality patient care and operational efficiency.

Lead nursing teams in delivering exceptional patient care through evidence-based practices and innovative approaches.

Collaborate with clinical and administrative leaders to optimize resource allocation and

Establish and monitor performance metrics to evaluate nursing quality and effectiveness.

Advocate for nursing within the executive leadership team and represent nursing interests in Organizational decision-making.

Required :

Masters in Nursing or related field (Doctorate preferred)

Active RN license

10+ years in progressive nursing leadership, including senior management

Proven ability to lead teams, manage complex projects, and drive change

Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and quality improvement

Preferred :

Experience in multi-facility systems or academic medical centers

Successful nursing practice initiatives that improved patient care

Active in nursing organizations and community health

Technical & Leadership Skills :

Proficient in EHRs and healthcare management software

Skilled in data analytics, budgeting, and financial management

Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic thinking
