Description
Responsible for selling complex technological products or services to businesses. The Sales Engineer will serve customers by identifying their needs, engineering adaptations of products, equipment and service.
The territory for this position is Central or Eastern South Carolina. Candidates must reside in this area to be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepares and delivers technical presentations explaining products or services to customers and prospective customers.
- Confers with customers and engineers to assess equipment needs and to determine system requirements.
- Collaborates with sales teams to understand customer requirements and provide sales support.
- Secures and renews orders and arrange delivery.
- Plans and modifies products to meet customer needs.
- Helps clients solve problems with installed equipment.
- Recommends improved materials or machinery to customers, shows how changes will lower costs or increase production.
- Helps in researching and developing new products.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Supervisory Responsibilities : This position has no supervisory responsibility.
