Orthopedic Hand & Upper Extremity Surgeon – Elective + Trauma Mix

Location : West Phoenix, Arizona (optional coverage in North Phoenix)

Position Type : Full-Time

Practice Setting : Multi-site model including outpatient clinics, physician-owned ASC, and hospital-based care

Call Coverage : Shared rotation at Banner Estrella Medical Center (Level II Trauma)

Trauma Caseload : Approximately 50% trauma / emergent cases

Travel Requirements : None

Position Summary

A physician-led, regionally recognized orthopedic group in Phoenix, Arizona is seeking a fellowship-trained Orthopedic Hand & Upper Extremity Surgeon to join its growing surgical division. This full-time opportunity offers a well-balanced case mix—approximately 50% elective and 50% trauma—delivered across a collaborative, multi-site model that includes an on-site ASC and hospital call responsibilities.

Surgeons benefit from a built-in referral base, two dedicated ORs within the ASC, and trauma call at a major Level II facility. The position is supported by experienced PAs and offers opportunities for teaching, leadership, or research for candidates interested in academic engagement.

Board eligible or certified

Hand fellowship trained

AZ medical license eligible

Ortho or plastic hand background

ER and trauma call experience
