About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief of Staff for its President, Engineering. The successful candidate will be a highly capable, independent, and collaborative individual with a strong background in engineering or the sciences. This role is pivotal in ensuring the focus and execution of key initiatives, supporting alignment activities within engineering, and providing decision support through data analysis and strategic briefings. The Chief of Staff will work closely with the President and the engineering leadership team, leading critical initiatives, orchestrating activities across engineering teams, and maintaining the flow of information to track strategic priorities. A key aspect of the role is to build and maintain positive relationships with the leadership teams and key functions, as well as to create a culture of customer-centric and product-focused thinking in engineering.

Applicants for the Chief of Staff position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' of proven experience, with a bachelor's degree in engineering or the sciences. A master's degree is preferred. The role requires a sound understanding of engineering methodologies, internal communications, finance, and business operations processes. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of interacting and communicating effectively with senior management, be a capable and confident communicator, and have the ability to influence others. Experience in leading programs, delivering to schedule, and a high degree of situational awareness to anticipate the needs of the President and the leadership team are essential. The Chief of Staff will also be involved in business-critical projects, support the engineering teams in creating alignment, and help build operating plans in collaboration with finance and project delivery teams.
