Systems Engineering And Technical Assistance (Seta) Professional

Vtg is expanding rapidly and seeking a driven, mid-level to senior-level systems engineering and technical assistance (seta) professional to support a growing program at joint base anacostia-bolling (jbab). This position is ideal for an energetic engineer who is eager to apply a diverse technical background in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment supporting critical national security efforts.

what will you do? key responsibilities :

  • provide technical and engineering expertise across multiple disciplines including software development, cloud engineering, cybersecurity, electrical engineering, and systems engineering.
  • collaborate closely with government and contractor teams to provide objective, unbiased support to acquisition and engineering processes.
  • support technical evaluations, readiness reviews, system design assessments, and requirements analysis.
  • track project milestones, identify risks, and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • assist with the integration and testing of complex systems and software components.
  • contribute to technical documentation, analysis reports, and decision briefs.

do you have what it takes?

  • active ts / sci clearance with polygraph
  • bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., computer science, electrical engineering, systems engineering, cybersecurity).
  • 3+ years of experience (internships, co-ops, or academic projects may be considered).
  • knowledge or hands-on experience in at least two of the following areas :
  • software development (python, java, c++, etc.)
  • cloud platforms (aws, azure, etc.)
  • cybersecurity principles or tools
  • electrical / embedded systems
  • systems engineering and integration
  • strong desire to learn, contribute, and grow in a mission-focused environment.
  • excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across technical teams.
