Opportunity :

• Looking for a Locum Hematology-Oncology Physician to provide coverage at two locations
• Inpatient consultative services across 2 hospitals 10 miles apart
• Dates of coverage : 1 week (7 days Mon-Sun) per month from January through July
• Patient population : Adult and Geriatric
• Practice distribution : 49% hematology, 51% oncology
• 5.6 physicians in the practice
• Radiation Oncologist available at EHT Cancer Center for case discussions
• 8 APPs providing coverage - Monday to Friday, an inpatient NP will assist the MD with notes, orders, and staff communication
• Average outpatient (clinic / office) patient load : 45 per day
• Average hospital patient load : 8 per day (5 consults, 3 follow-ups)
• Clinical areas : Oncology and Hematology in an inpatient setting
• Hospital trauma level : Atlantic City - Level 1
• EMR system : Cerner
• Required procedures : Inpatient consultative services
