Job Description :

Essential Functions :

Recruiting student-athletes, scheduling games / practices, fundraising, coaching and coordinating travel to / from away contests.

Maintain discipline and create a positive student-athlete experience.

Teaches sport techniques, skills, game rules, strategies and tactics.

Ensures student-athlete safety for practices, games and travel.

Collaborates with the athletic director on daily operations, potential challenges, awards, scheduling and fundraising efforts.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :

Thorough knowledge of all College, department, OCCAC, Region XII and NJCAA policies, understand FERPA and the proper chain of command.

Teach sport techniques, rules, strategies and tactics.

Conducts practices, games and meetings safely and supervises locker room.

Accountable for actions on / off campus, attends all required games, practices and meetings. Exhibits professional behavior.

Minimum Qualifications :

Associates degree
