Permanent Family / Internal Medicine Physician Opportunity near Douglasville, GA

We are excited to announce a permanent, full-time position for a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or IM / PED Physician near Douglasville, GA. This role provides a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established outpatient practice with a supportive team environment.

Position Overview :

  • Specialties Accepted : Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or IM / PED (Board-Certified or Board-Eligible)
  • Location : Near Douglasville, GA
  • Position Type : Full-time, Permanent
  • Practice Setting : Outpatient Only
  • Work Schedule : Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM
  • Start Date : ASAP

About the Practice :

  • Team Composition : You will be part of a dedicated team consisting of 3 MDs and 2 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). The practice focuses on delivering exceptional outpatient care.
  • Patient Load : Manage an average of 18-24 patients per day, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care.
  • EMR System : Utilize the EPIC EMR system for efficient patient management and documentation.

    • Key Responsibilities :

  • Patient Care : Provide comprehensive medical care in an outpatient setting, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of various health conditions.
  • Office Hours : Standard hours are from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule.
  • Documentation : Maintain accurate patient records using the EPIC EMR system.

    • Job Requirements :

  • Qualifications : Must be Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or IM / PED.
  • Licensure : Must have or be eligible for medical licensure in Georgia.
  • Experience : While previous outpatient experience is preferred, recent graduates are also encouraged to apply.
