Lab Technician

Join a dynamic R&D team as a Lab Technician, where you will engage in material testing and contribute to a variety of projects. You will work closely with a team of scientists, gaining training in complex testing methods and supporting technical service initiatives. There is room for growth into advanced roles within the team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples for material testing, including Instron testing on materials like epoxy and thermoplastics.
• Execute application and laboratory test plans to support material and process characterizations, as well as root cause analysis.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members, suppliers, and customers.
• Manage and own assigned technical service requests, including documentation, status updates, and communication with requestors.
• Oversee assigned laboratory equipment, products, and supplies, ensuring preventative maintenance and supporting standardizations and 5S processes.
• Support quality and cost savings initiatives.
• Practice safe work habits and comply with all safety, health, and environmental rules and regulations.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00 / hr.
