RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Job Overview :

We are seeking an experienced RN for a Level II Trauma Neuro / Trauma ICU. This 12-bed unit operates with a 2 : 1 nurse-to-patient ratio and specializes in caring for critically ill neuro / trauma patients, including those with ICP monitors, CRRT, and lumbar drains. The RN may also float to Cardiovascular, Telemetry, ICU / CCU, or Med-Surg units as needed.

Key Responsibilities :

Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a Neuro / Trauma ICU setting.

Care for patients with advanced monitoring, CRRT, and complex critical care needs.

Float to other units such as Cardiovascular, Telemetry, ICU / CCU, or Med-Surg when required.

Document patient care accurately using EPIC EMR.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements :

Minimum 5 years of acute critical care experience.

Experience in Level II trauma critical care.

Current California RN license.

Current BLS and ACLS certifications.

EPIC charting experience required.

Additional Information :

Night shift : 12-hour shifts, starting at 7 : 00 p.m.

13-week contract.

Holiday coverage required.
