This individual will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams. They will manage business use cases oversee projects currently in flight and ensure seamless progression through each phase of the process. This role emphasizes stakeholder engagement prioritization and execution oversight within the Data & Analytics Center of Excellence.

Job Description :

This role is critical to advancing enterprise-wide analytics at Delta Dental. The Expert Technical Specialist will partner closely with data architecture data engineering and business analytics teams to identify and implement machine learning (ML) use cases that address real-world business challenges.

The position sits within Delta Dentals Data & Analytics Center of Excellence which is responsible for executing the companys Enterprise Data & Analytics strategyfostering a data-driven culture governing data assets and enabling impactful business insights.

Key Responsibilities :

Leverage deep expertise in Dataiku (and Azure ML) to support business data scientists in defining developing tuning and deploying ML models.

Provide guidance and mentorship to data scientists and development teams on ML best practices from ideation to deployment.

Serve as an Advanced Analytics Product Owner : identify and prioritize new ML use cases track progress and risks and coordinate resolution efforts.

Drive thought leadership on Advanced Analytics governance including ethical and legal guidelines.

Build validate and implement predictive models in support of strategic initiatives or AI / ML proof-of-concepts; clearly present findings to stakeholders.

Analyze current data-related processes and lead process improvement initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications :

Bachelors degree with 7 years of relevant experience.

Required Skills and Abilities :

Proven ability to lead complex technical projects and collaborate across all levels of IT and business.

Strong project leadership and organizational skills with experience delivering high-impact technical solutions.

Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Expertise in developing and delivering training or mentorship to team members.

Excellent analytical problem-solving and documentation skills.

Experience developing business cases proposals and presentations.
