None. Physical Requirements Lifting, pushing, or pulling of objects up to 10 lbs., sitting for long periods of time, and viewing computer screens for extended periods of time without difficulty. This position will involve high levels of concentration and mental attention; as well as utilizing multiple computer systems. Shift Monday – Friday; 8 : 00 am – 5 : 00 pm.

Job Summary The University of Kentucky Police Department is seeking a Records Assistant to join the Records & Evidence unit and will report to the Clery Compliance Officer.

This position will be responsible for assisting Records & Evidence Officers, as well as the Clery Compliance Officer, with daily administrative duties and disseminating annual training. This includes duties such as uploading collision reports and photos, performing background checks, data entry and dissemination as it relates to community contact reports, and service of subpoenas and expungements.

This position will also assist with Clery compliance by disseminating annual law enforcement letters and monitoring responses, fostering relationships with important stakeholders to identify Campus Security Authorities (CSAs), and sending all online training requirements and reminders. Skills / Knowledge / Abilities Previous experience working in a law enforcement records setting; dispatching; clerical; Microsoft Office; excellent writing and oral communication skills.
