Job Description

Job Title : Cardiovascular Technician

Hours per Shift : 8 hours (830 AM - 830 PM) or 10 hours (730 AM - 6 PM)

Experience : 2+ Years of Cath Lab experience required

License : Michigan license verification required for nurses

Certifications : BLS (AHA)

Must-Have :

• 2+ Years of Cath Lab experience
• Skills checklist completed within one year of application

Description :

The surgical services department represents a full spectrum of procedures and tests across various specialties.

General elective surgeries, as well as critical or life-saving procedures, are areas of expertise.

This position requires a skilled Cardiovascular Technician who can perform a range of duties to support physicians and surgeons.

Responsibilities include operating special imaging equipment to assess patients before, during, and after medical procedures related to the heart and lungs.

On-call duties will be required every 5-6 weekends.

Weeknights on-call may involve one night every 2-3 weeks.

Ortho, General, Endo-Vascular, Urgo, and OB experience are preferred but not mandatory.

References are not required.
