Reports To : Facilities Manager

Schedule : Monday - Friday; 7am - 3 : 30pm

Pay / Salary : $18.00 per hour

Job Description

Terrapin is looking for a Facilities Technician to join our growing company. As a Clinton County, Pennsylvania - based cannabis company, Terrapin is a pioneer in the emerging industry. Terrapin is a cultivator and processor of high-quality medical cannabis products with plans to open a retail footprint in Pennsylvania. With over 15 years of industry experience, Terrapin was licensed to operate in the Pennsylvania marketplace in 2017, growing to more than 200 employees.

The ideal candidate for the Facilities Technician position will possess a wide ranging, yet specific set of skills and experience. This role requires a clean driving record for driving a company vehicle and / or using your own personal vehicle for business travel, with mileage reimbursement provided for personal vehicle usage. They will be able to arrive at work consistently on time and manage their own time during the course of their work day. They will be comfortable working in public spaces, around other employees, customers, and contractors and maintaining a professional and as unobtrusive as possible presence during all service. They will need to be able and willing to communicate, respond quickly to new directions, and be conscientious in record keeping during the course of rendering service at various Terrapin locations.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Patching and repairing drywall
• Painting and staining various mediums
• Ability to follow all sanitation and safety guidelines including wearing proper PPE such as scrubs, hairnets, etc.
• Perform basic plumbing maintenance, such as replacing bathroom fixtures, toilet wax rings, diagnosing leaks, etc.
• Perform basic electrical maintenance such as safely replacing light fixtures and bulbs, soldering, cutting and stripping wire, etc.
• Performs routine maintenance when necessary
• Troubleshoots equipment and machines
• Groundskeeping such as winter maintenance and lawn care
• Assists in cleaning and custodial duties (if required)
• Follows compliance and security guidelines and procedures
• Performs all other duties as assigned
