Pharmacy Technician Buyer I - Full Time

Find your calling at Mercy! The Pharmacy Tech Buyer I has primary responsibility for managing the wholesale drug distribution procurement for our pharmacies and / or clinics. This co-worker also assists in the inventory management in overall drug purchasing and inventory control processes for the hospital, clinic and / or pharmacy. This co-worker maintains complete records, processes invoices in a timely manner. Performs related duties as assigned. Position Details :

The Pharmacy Tech Buyer I has primary responsibility for managing the wholesale drug distribution procurement for our pharmacies and / or clinics. This co-worker also assists in the inventory management in overall drug purchasing and inventory control processes for the hospital, clinic and / or pharmacy. This co-worker maintains complete records, processes invoices in a timely manner. Performs related duties as assigned.

• Education : High School Diploma or equivalence exam.
• Licensure : Actively registered, in good standing, with the State Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician or willing to submit application for registration by first day of work. This includes submitting fingerprints for FBI background check.
• Experience : 1 year of pharmacy experience required.
• Certifications : Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) (obtained within 6 months of hire).
