A growing, employee-centric client of ours is highly motivated to find a Senior Tax Analyst. You’ll work on high-impact projects and play a key role in their tax compliance and provision needs. They pride themselves on having a great work life balance and you will only be on-site twice a week.
Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare federal, state, and local income tax returns, estimates, extensions, and forecasts
- Support tax compliance and provision processes using advanced corporate tax knowledge
- Review and prepare complex consolidated federal and state tax filings
- Apply ASC principles to prepare income tax accrual calculations
- Audit quarterly estimated payments and extensions prepared by junior staff
- Understand tax filing requirements for foreign operations
- Conduct tax research and draft memorandums to support filing positions and strategic initiatives
- Stay current on changes in tax law and accounting standards
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field2+ years of experience in corporate income tax preparationStrong knowledge of corporate tax provisions and consolidated federal / state returnsProficiency with tax software and research tools (e.g., ONESOURCE, CCH, RIA, BNA)Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex tax concepts clearlyThe SR Group (UK) Limited is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
