Call Center - Backend Collection Representaive

Midrange Collector - Arlington, TX

Job Summary :

MEI Finance is seeking a Midrange Collector to join our team. The collections representative is responsible for initiating calls to delinquent customers to collect past due payments while maintaining high standards of customer service and compliance.

Responsibilities :

• Provide excellent customer service via phone, focusing on first-contact resolution
• Monitor, manage, and maintain assigned accounts
• Establish and maintain strong customer relationships
• Effectively negotiate payment arrangements on delinquent loans
• Utilize probing questions and effective documentation practices
• Ensure all demographics submitted on accounts are accurate and updated
• Meet collection goals, including delinquency and cash collections
• Perform basic skip tracing as needed
• Adhere to company policies and compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Requirements :

Minimum 2 years of prior Midrange collections experience

Proficient knowledge of FDCPA (Fair Debt Collection Practices Act)

Goal-oriented and results-driven

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently under pressure

Must meet daily, weekly, and monthly individual / departmental goals

Team player with a positive, professional attitude

Ability to receive, retain, and implement effective feedback

Compensation :

Hourly Rate : Up to $18.00 / hour (based on experience)

Bonus : Weekly bonus incentives available

Schedule :

Full-Time

Day Shift

Monday to Friday & Every Other Saturday
