Job Title : (BSA) Business System Analyst

Location : Mt Laurel NJ

Duration : Fulltime / Contract

Job Description :

• Develops, assesses, and validates a client's business strategy, including industry and competitive positioning and strategic direction.
• Develops solutions and services to suit client's business strategy.
• Estimates scope and liability for delivery of the product / solution
• Seeks opportunities to develop revenue in existing and new areas.
• Leads an engagement and oversees others' contributions at a customer end, such that customer expectations are met or exceeded.
• Drives Proposal creation and presales activities for the engagement; new accounts
• Contributes towards the development of practice policies, procedures, frameworks etc.
• Guides less experienced team members in delivering solutions.
• Leads efforts towards building go-to-market / off the shelf / point solutions and process methodologies for reuse.
• Creates reusable IP from managed projects.
• Systems requirement management - liaising between the business / Business Analyst, Technology, vendors, business stakeholders, and other subject matter experts to plan, elicit, analyse, document, communicate and manage system requirements.
• Assessing current capabilities, understanding high-level business requirements, and applying technical background / understanding in the development of system requirements and functional documents
• Assessing the needs of a business client and looking for opportunities to develop and grow the business through effective use of technology; collaborate with Business Analysts and other Technology professionals to determine if solutions currently exist (internally or externally) or whether new solutions are feasible and determine how such solutions will impact existing work processes and systems, and how to manage the integration.
• Financial / Banking domain knowledge is added advantage.
• Supporting project / delivery team e.g. development, testing, change management, operational readiness
• May provide operational / process related analysis and support
• Business Systems Analysis is a professional field that generally requires formal education or relevant experience and strong understanding of the requirements management discipline, business related systems, operational processes, related technology, enterprise technology delivery practices and standards and project management discipline along with a thorough understanding of the businesses supported and enterprise methodologies.
• Candidate also need to have knowledge and experience in API and Data mapping
• Profile must be from Financial domain.
• Profile must have working experience in API Java based PROJECT Development in his / her previous assignments.
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, including creating and managing API specifications (using Swagger / OpenAPI etc)
• Knowledge of testing APIs (using tools like Postman, etc.)
• Working on Postman collection - Request and Responses . They need to have extensive experience in this.
• Documentation of endpoints / events and data elements- System mapping and integration. Mapping data elements across different systems
• Able to query SQL / Oracle database and run sql queries to understand raw data.
• Identify endpoints to define list of external dependencies and create them (user stories) in Jira and link corresponding DEV & QE dependent stories
• Profile shall have experience in working with Agile SCRUM methodology.
• Need to understand what all different ceremonies and responsibilities of BSA during those different ceremonies.
