Security Program Manager
The AWS Manufacturing Operations Transportation Operations and Reverse Logistics team (MOTOR) manages AWS and 3rd Party (3P) Supply Chain activities that include the following operations : inbound supplier-owned component warehousing and finished rack storage, server and rack assembly, and reverse logistics operations. In support of growth, in both scale of operations and portfolio of services, we drive the standardization of space planning, design and construction, periodic service and preventative maintenance, and security of our portfolio of global operations functions across our Supply Chain Facilities. We are looking for an experienced, customer-obsessed Security Program Manager who is able to collaborate effectively with a technical team and be responsible for key aspects of the customer experience in ensuring our MOTOR facilities meet our Security Guardrails. In this role you will lead you will work in all related security disciplines, at all levels, from technology research to system design and layout, oversight of construction and implementation, as well as maintenance and upgrades over the life of the system. The person will have an in-depth knowledge of security technology, be innovative, highly organized, and will have demonstrated the ability to deliver results on time and within budget. The position is responsible for the design, installation and integration of security systems equipment including, but not limited to, Access Control / Intrusion Detection and CCTV Surveillance systems. The SPM is a key member of the Security team and supervises the compliance of physical security standards, manages Physical Security Projects, serves on cross functional teams and is considered one of the Subject Matter Experts in all facets of Physical Security. The SPM's ultimate success will be measured by how they drive the development, implementation and commissioning of standardized security infrastructure systems for the AWS region. This is measured by agreed upon objectives and metrics related to key areas such as the level and quality of customer service provided, access control effectiveness, and the protection of our customers data, employees and visitors. The position is responsible for driving Physical Security Standards and Programs that support the goals of the Global SCFM Physical Security Team.

About the team Supply Chain Facilities Management (SCFM) drives a global strategy to support the MOTOR vertical pillars (ACL, RRL, MFG) via standardization of space planning, design and construction, periodic and preventative maintenance, and security of our portfolio of global Supply Chain Facilities. The team support facilities, security and critical projects across our portfolio of buildings globally. The team manages our Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) partner comprising Facilities Managers, Building Engineers, Maintenance Technicians and Facilities Coordinators and global Design and QS contractor resources. Our goal is to provide essential proactive building preventive maintenance, high velocity service outage responsiveness, facility and project cost savings, optimal security posture aligned with HSCS guidance and structured project management services. Additionally, we see tremendous opportunity to leverage our core competency in facility and project management to deliver operational efficiencies to partner teams across AIS. The successful leader in this role will demonstrate the ability to drive security upgrades and new green field building projects while simultaneously exploring new technologies and business models. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $91,800 / year in our lowest geographic market up to $196,300 / year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
