47,000 - $53,000

JOB SUMMARY

As a Mechanical Shop Technician in Fargo, North Dakota, you may : do machine modification, rework, assembly, and some fabrication or welding; work hands-on as a shop mechanic - similar to an automotive mechanic, but working on fun and interesting new designs of high-tech machinery; work within the Test Engineering group and support other departments such as Design Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering, and work collaboratively with suppliers and other Applied partners.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A 2-year degree or Technical Diploma in Mechanical Technician, Manufacturing Systems Technology, or a related field is preferred
  • Hands-on mechanical skills required
  • Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems required
  • Agricultural, construction, automotive, or similar background preferred
  • Experience with fabrication or machine shops a plus
