Job Description

Join our team as a Heavy Equipment Operator where you'll work a four-day schedule from Friday to Monday, handling 12-hour shifts. You will operate a variety of heavy construction equipment to excavate, move, and grade earth, erect structures, and pour concrete or other hard surface pavement. The role may also involve equipment repair and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy construction equipment such as motor graders, bulldozers, scrapers, compressors, pumps, derricks, shovels, tractors, or front-end loaders.
• Excavate, move, and grade earth, and erect structures or pour concrete.
• Repair and maintain equipment as needed.
• Communicate effectively with team members to convey information.
• Perform physical activities involving climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Norfolk, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00 / hr.
