Cable / Maintenance Technician

We are seeking skilled Mechanical Installers to join our team. The role involves installing chutes, mechanical systems, and Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs) using hand and power tools. Candidates must be comfortable working at heights of up to 6 feet and be able to follow blueprints and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) precisely. The position also includes cable management duties, requiring skills in installing interfaces, wires, and cables.

Responsibilities

  • Install chutes, mechanical systems, and HMIs.
  • Utilize hand and power tools effectively.
  • Work safely at heights of up to 6 feet.
  • Follow blueprints and SOPs without deviation.
  • Manage and install cables and interfaces.
  • Work with both large and small components.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in general production and use of hand and power tools.
  • Mechanical aptitude and technician experience.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting.
  • Familiarity with blueprint reading and quality assurance.
  • Proficiency in installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

    • Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong attendance record.
  • Experience with extensive physical labor.
  • Previous work on Amazon projects.
  • Familiarity with installation work.

    Work Environment

    Work inside a large, bustling warehouse, collaborating with PAC Advisors and Aerotek Services. The role requires wearing steel-toed shoes, jeans, and a work shirt. Work schedule is Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays, working 8-10 hours per day.

    Job Type & Location

    This is a Contract position based out of Louisville, Tennessee.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00 / hr.
