About the Role

Reporting to the Assistant City Manager, the Chief Planning Officer will lead implementation of Fort Worth's updated Comprehensive Plan, align long-range strategies across departments, and champion initiatives that integrate infrastructure, housing, mobility, economic development, and environmental stewardship. Unlike traditional planning administration, this role focuses on strategic leadershipcoordinating citywide priorities, breaking down silos, and advancing Fort Worth's vision for sustainable, equitable growth.
