Job Description

Prepare detailed, accurate estimates for commercial interiors ($500K-$25M). Perform quantity takeoffs and scope analysis from architectural and MEP drawings. Solicit, review, and level subcontractor and vendor bids. Collaborate with PMs and executives during bid reviews and value engineering sessions. Maintain strong subcontractor relationships and pricing databases. Attend walkthroughs and pre-bid meetings as required. Develop budgets and conceptual estimates during preconstruction phases. Ensure all pricing documentation is organized and client-ready.

The Successful Applicant

3-7 years of experience estimating commercial interiors projects in NYC. Strong understanding of construction drawings, trade scopes, and bid processes. Experience with high-end tenant improvement and corporate fit-out work. Proficient in On-Screen Takeoff, Excel, Procore, or BuildingConnected. Excellent time management and attention to detail under tight deadlines. Strong communication skills for subcontractor and client interaction. Team player who collaborates well in a fast-moving, deadline-driven environment. Stable work history with NYC-based GCs or interiors specialists preferred.
