Designated Educational Assistant Haynesfield

This is a part-time 5.5 hour designated educational assistant position. This position does not include benefits.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma including one of the following :
• An associates degree.
• 48 semester hours of college credit from an accredited institution
• Documentation verifying a passing score on the paraprofessional assessment test
• Proficient with technology appropriate for the position.
• Proficient in grammar skills.
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

Principal / Appropriate Supervisor

JOB GOAL

To assist teachers in conducting intensified learning experiences for students; to provide a variety of supportive tasks to improve instruction; to perform related work as required so that each child may be provided with educational opportunities to maximize learning.
