Position Description
The seeks to develop a pool of candidates for possible temporary / nontenured faculty to teach.
Temporary / nontenured faculty are appointed to teach one to four courses per semester. Teaching appointments are based upon student demand on a semester-by-semester basis.
Eligibility for annual reappointment is contingent upon satisfactory annual performance evaluations during the term period, in addition to continuity of funding and departmental / school need. Successful candidates may teach at the San Marcos and Round Rock campuses and / or online, depending on the needs of the academic department.
This posting is for the Fall , Spring , and Summer semesters.

Positions are subject to availability of funds. Required Qualifications -An earned doctorate in Biology or a closely related life science field.-Excellent written and oral communication skills. Preferred Qualifications -Previous experience teaching undergraduate courses as the instructor of record
