We have partnered with our client in their search for a Java Developer in Columbus OH

Responsibilities

  • 6+ years of professional experience
  • Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
  • Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and databases.
  • Proficient in coding in one or more modern programming languages like Java, React, Javascript, HTML, CSS
  • Strong in RESTful API implementation, Spring & Spring Boot, micro-services architecture and databases
  • Hands-on experience in AWS specifically ECS / EKS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, API Gateway, Step functions, storage services.
  • Experience working in Kafka, Cassandra / NoSQL, relational databases
  • Knowledge of CI / CD deployment with tools such as Jenkins, Maven or Gradle

Skills Required

  • Preferred skillsets :
  • Experience in developing automated tests using Cucumber, Karate, Jest
  • Experience with deployment in the cloud using Terraform
  • Practical cloud native experience
  • Knowledge of Domain Driven Design and micro frontend UIs
  • AWS professional certification is preferred
