JOB DETAILS

  • 13 Week Contract w / option to extend
  • 7pm-7am - Weekdays and weekends - required to work every other weekend
  • 36 hours per week
  • Responsible for providing comprehensive respiratory care, including airway management, oxygen therapy, secretion clearance, and the administration of aerosolized medications, in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
  • Assesses patient conditions, develops and implements individualized treatment plans, and continuously evaluates the effectiveness of respiratory intervention
  • Assist with patient care tasks, including point of care testing for blood glucose, urine testing, and vital signs
  • Observes patients identified as being at risk of self-harm and reports behavioral concerns to appropriate medical personnel to ensure patient safety
  • Collaborate closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care

    • REQUIREMENTS

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist & NC Respiratory Care Practitioner required
  • Current ACLS,BLS & PALS certification through the American Heart Association
  • At least 1 year of recent experience in a hospital setting, preferably in an emergency room setting
  • Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy required
  • Successful completion of required screenings, including background check, drug test, and competency evaluation
  • Scrubs must be red, black, or gray
