We're seeking a Board-Certified Radiologist for a 6-month locum assignment in Connecticut , starting December 2025 . This is a full-time, on-site role at a large academic medical center providing comprehensive diagnostic imaging services.

The site prefers local candidates , but they are open to discussing travel and lodging reimbursement for out-of-area providers-provided it's arranged in advance. Key Details

  • Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8 : 00 AM-5 : 00 PM (40 hours / week)

    • Job Responsibilities

  • Interpret and perform a wide range of diagnostic imaging studies (X-ray, CT, MRI, Ultrasound)
  • Deliver accurate, timely reports to referring physicians
  • Collaborate with medical teams to ensure high-quality, patient-focused care
  • Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions as needed

    • Qualifications

  • Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology
  • Active Connecticut Medical License (required or in process)
  • BLS Certification (AHA or Red Cross)
  • Prior hospital-based experience preferred

    • Working Hours

  • Monday-Friday, 8 : 00 AM-5 : 00 PM
  • No nights, weekends, or call required

    • Skills

  • Proficiency across multiple imaging modalities
  • Excellent communication and attention to detail
  • Strong clinical decision-making and collaboration skills
  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment
