Overview

Job Summary :

We are looking for an individual to help manage a smooth and efficient start to golfers’ rounds by managing tee times, coordinating player groups, and providing exceptional customer service. This entry-level position is responsible for maintaining the pace of play, communicating course rules, and creating a welcoming environment for guests.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Greet golfers, check them in, and confirm tee time reservations.
  • Organize and assign players to tee times, ensuring groups are properly paired.
  • Communicate course policies, etiquette, and daily conditions to players.
  • Monitor the first tee to maintain the pace of play and prevent delays.
  • Assist with basic inquiries about the course, facilities, or services.
  • Coordinate with other staff, such as rangers and pro shop personnel, to ensure seamless operations.
  • Perform light administrative tasks, such as updating tee sheets or reporting issues.

Qualifications :

  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Basic knowledge of golf rules and etiquette (preferred but not required).
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Work Environment :  Outdoor setting at the golf course’s first tee, with occasional interaction in the pro shop or clubhouse.

    Experience Required

    Experience :  No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.
