Project Technical Designer- Solid Works

Shift-Mon-Fri Dayshift 6am to 3pm

Pay : $48 / hr

6 month Contract

In this role, you will bring your skills to a fast-paced and high-energy environment. You’ll also bring your process improvement ideas to the table, as we’re constantly looking for ways to improve efficiency.

As a part of the team, you will :

• Responsible for overall design drawings for contract orders using solid works.
• Attend and participate in internal kick-off meetings with the Contract Order Team.
• Attend and participate in project meetings and gate reviews.
• Perform required work to meet project milestones.
• Participate in Roll-out (manufacturing start-up) project meetings.
• Supports Solid works improvement projects.
• Key team member in design automation program improvements
• Perform other assigned tasks as needed.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures.
• Responds to questions from Purchasing, Quality, and Production concerning design drawings.

Works with Project Manager to resolve issues during the design and manufacturing process.

Follow all safety policies and company-wide safety requirements; encourages action assuring safe behavior; confronts unsafe behavior and conditions proactively and positively.

Conducts himself / herself in a considerate, professional, cooperative and helpful manner toward fellow employees, customers, vendors and visitors.

What you know : You have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science, or Technology or an Associate's Degree in same, Mechanical Engineer a plus,
