job_description.job_card.job_descriptionProvide Primary Care treatment in an Employer-based setting Episodic care (low acuity Urgent Care) Chronic Disease Management for patients + Pedatric Acute Care for ages + Ability to perform CLIA waived tests, Dispense Rx medications (Must have Florida Dispensing License and DEA) do NOT submit any candidates who do not already have these credentials. Collaboration with onsite employees to provide biometric screening and health and wellness education Direct one on one health coaching to employees along with referring patients into wellness programs
This is % onsite with potential to transition from temporary to permanent role. We will want someone with a strong background in family practice or internal medicine, who is able to see pediatric patients for acute care visits and sports physicals.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including internal and external customers and group settings
- Graduate of Certified NP program
- Active and unrestricted autonomous NP license required in Florida and dispensing license - they must already have these credentials
- Minimum of or more years of NP experience, working independently in an internal medicine or family practice setting
- Ability to practice independently
- DEA licensure
- Electronic Health Record experience
- BLS certification
- Ability to work health center hours (up to hours a week) :
- Passionate about overall health and wellness and patient education
- High energy and strong customer-centric focus
