Insurance Analyst

Overview

Insurance Analyst role at Northwest Respiratory Services. Remote work with a focus on experience and knowledge of medical insurance payers.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage time-sensitive incoming insurance verifications based on priority level.
• Verify insurance benefits, prior authorizations, and required medical documentation for applicable payers; problem-solve unusual insurance scenarios.
• Navigate insurance portals, IVR systems, and related tools.
• Review documentation for validity to bill third-party payers, including but not limited to medical documentation such as prescriptions, progress notes, oxygen saturation / sleep study results, and delivery documentation from multiple branches.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy in data entry and filing.
