job_description.job_card.job_descriptionDispense Medications : Accurately and efficiently prepare and dispense prescribed medications to patients, ensuring proper dosage and safety. Patient Consultation : Provide medication counseling to patients, answering questions about prescription and over-the-counter medications, side effects, and proper usage. Medication Therapy Management : Review patient profiles and collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure safe and effective medication therapies. Medication Safety : Ensure adherence to all regulatory and safety standards, monitoring for potential drug interactions, allergies, and contraindications. Clinical Support : Assist in the development and implementation of medication protocols and policies, working closely with other healthcare professionals to improve patient care. Education : Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited pharmacy school. Licensure : Active Illinois Pharmacist license in good standing (or eligibility for licensure). Experience : Experience in a hospital, retail, or clinical setting preferred, but we are open to both experienced and new graduate pharmacists. Skills : Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
