The MS&B Business Development & Strategy organization is looking for a Senior Business Development Representative (Level 5) to join the KC-46 Business Development and Strategy (BD&S) team who will be responsible for shaping the market and capturing new business. This position will report to the Senior Manager of KC-46.

As a Business Development Representative, you will be accountable for leading sales and campaign activities for domestic and global customers. This role is based in Everett, WA. A successful candidate will maintain strong industry awareness, possess market environment analysis skills, and can establish and manage partnerships with customers, stakeholders, and suppliers. Additionally, a successful candidate will have strong strategy background and networking skills, business and financial acumen, and the ability to work closely with technical experts.

Position Responsibilities :

  • Develop marketing and campaign win strategies
  • Manage captures, including identifying and driving the strategy for capturing new business, managing supporting investments and resources, and leading a cross-functional capture team
  • Initiate and advance customer relationships to be accepted as a trusted business partner by the customer.
  • Interface directly with the customer decision makers to shape the market and optimize the business cases for new products, technologies and services.
  • Consult and influence decisions of Boeing senior level executives regarding business goals and objectives.
  • Prepare solicitation responses (RFPs, RFIs,), shape ongoing capture efforts, identify customer needs and requirements, and develop winning strategies
  • Obtain and leverage detailed understanding of the customers' processes, procedures, techniques, organizations and culture.
  • Maintaining an understanding of the domestic and international competitive landscape to include knowledge of competitors' products, services, and activities and their impact on our competitive position
  • Manage organization new business funds

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and / or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience) :

  • 5+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams
  • Strong communication, problem solving and analytical skills
  • Experience in preparing and presenting executive level briefings
  • 5+ years of experience in a customer facing role engaging with internal and / or external customers
  • Agile and willing to work in a fast paced work environment while balancing multiple tasks concurrently and paying close attention to detail
  • 10+ years of experience working in a professional environment
  • Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience) :

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher
  • 5+ years of experience working contracts with U.S. Department of Defense, Direct Commercial Sales (DCS) and / or Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers
  • This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility. Willing and able to travel up to 25% of the time both domestically and internationally. This position is for 1st shift.
