Position Title : Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO)

Location : Hanover, MD

Clearance Required : Top Secret / SCI

Position Overview :

The ISSO supports the maintenance and enforcement of cybersecurity policies and practices across classified systems, ensuring compliance with RMF, NIST, and DoD security requirements.

Key Responsibilities :

• Maintain security documentation, including SSPs, POA&Ms, and risk assessments.
• Coordinate with system owners to enforce security controls and remediate vulnerabilities.
• Track security incidents and assist with investigations and reporting.
• Ensure continuous monitoring and status updates on authorization packages.
• Support security audits and inspections to maintain system compliance.
• Assist in user account and access reviews in classified environments.

Qualifications :

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated compensation range for this position is between $155,000 and $165,000 annually, based on benchmarks in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. This range reflects a good faith estimate for all experience levels.
