Heart Failure ICU Nurse Practitioner - Full-Time Nights

Location : Texas Medical Center

Schedule : 12-Hour Shifts | 7 : 00 PM - 7 : 00 AM | 40 Hours Paid

Status : Full-Time | Nights | Rotating Weekends and Holidays | No On-Call

Salary Range : $135,200 - $147,680

Position Summary :

Deans Professional Services is currently hiring for an experienced Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP) to provide high-level care in a Heart Failure Intensive Care Unit . This role involves the treatment and management of complex cardiovascular patients including those with LVADs, ECMO support, post-operative cardiac surgery, and heart / lung transplant cases .

Key Responsibilities :

Conduct advanced clinical assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans

Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams on patient care

Provide direct patient management for those with mechanical circulatory support and transplant recovery

Maintain accurate documentation according to clinical and regulatory standards

Minimum Requirements :

Certified

AGACNP (Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner)

Active Texas RN and APRN license

National certification (ANCC, AANP, or AACN)

Current BLS and ACLS certifications

At least 2 years of clinical experience in Critical Care (RN or NP), ideally in Cardiology, Cardiac ICU, or Heart Failure

Preferred Experience :

Direct care experience with

LVADs, ECMO, CV recovery, and transplant patients

Background in heart failure management

ICU-level Acute Care NP experience in high-acuity cardiac settings
