USER EXPERIENCE DESIGNER

Within ZS' Business Technology group, the Digital Experience & Design Expertise Center (DXD) works with clients to design effective technology solutions that support & enhance critical business processes and manage the implementation of those solutions.

The DXD team, specifically, spearheads a variety of user experience engagements from large scale business transformation and customer experience initiatives to interactive dashboards, Web portals, and applications for mobile and desktop.

ZS , a global leader in sales and marketing effectiveness, seeks a User Experience Designer to join our experience team. As a User Experience Designer in the DXD Expertise Center, you know what it means to create effective, efficient and beautiful interactions in consumer and patient-facing applications, mobile apps, dashboards, data visualizations, enterprise applications and information systems.

Teams and clients will look to you to support designs that adhere to usability best practices and leverage knowledge about users’ behavior. You will help to create interfaces that enable people to successfully achieve quantified objectives effectively and efficiently, across a range of digital and Business Intelligence solutions for mobile and Web.

What You'll Do :

  • Collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to design user-friendly interfaces that enhance business processes.
  • Utilize user-centered design principles, usability best practices and AI to create engaging and effective digital experiences.
  • Develop interactive prototypes and visual designs using tools like Figma, Tableau, and AI-enabled design tools.
  • Utilize AI technologies to enhance user experience and improve efficiency in design solutions.
  • Support user research, including contextual inquiries and usability testing, to inform design decisions.
  • Document design processes and communicate clearly with stakeholders and development teams to ensure alignment and successful implementation.
  • Continuously iterate on designs based on user feedback and metrics to drive positive business outcomes.
  • Support net-new design system creation and extend existing design systems to incorporate additional components or support new features.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other designers, researchers, developers, product specialists and engineers to support solution design and development.

What You'll Bring :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Fine Arts, or a related visual art field; additional degrees or certifications in Human-Computer Interaction or Human Factors preferred.
  • 2-4 years of experience in User Experience design, particularly in complex, high-volume, and high-profile business applications, or in innovative solution spaces.
  • Foundational understanding of enterprise software, including CRM systems, Business Intelligence systems, and collaboration technologies.
  • Foundational understanding of CMS systems, data systems integration product design methods
  • Strong portfolio showcasing your design work, including information architecture, interaction design, and visual design skills.
  • Proficiency in design tools, especially Figma
  • Knowledge of coding languages such as HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS for creating working prototypes and interactive stories is desirable.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to document design decisions and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to digest and synthesize complex requirements and contribute to design decisions and system design
  • Familiarity with the pharmaceutical industry or other healthcare knowledge is a plus
