As a member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of patients while enjoying competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and the support of a dedicated clinical team.nnRequired Qualifications : nnntCompletion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology programntMinimum of one year of experience as a High-Risk OB Ultrasound TechntCurrent BLS Certification (AHA / ARC)ntValid Ultrasound license in compliance with state regulationsntOther certifications or licenses may be required for this positionnnnPreferred Qualifications : nnntCurrent Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Certification (ARDMS)ntCurrent ARRT Certification in SonographyntOther certifications or licenses may be required for this positionnnnSummary : nn The High-Risk OB Ultrasound Tech specializes in performing invasive and non-invasive obstetric and gynecological ultrasound procedures to assist in diagnosing and managing high-risk pregnancies. They ensure accurate, high-quality imaging, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and provide detailed findings to consulting providers while prioritizing patient education, safety, and comfort.nnEssential Work Functions : nnntAssist in implementing and adjusting patient treatment plans under the guidance of physicians or RRTsntExamine and interview patients with breathing and / or cardiopulmonary disordersntPerform diagnostics tests, such as measuring lung capacity or collecting blood / sputum samplesntAdminister respiratory treatments, including aerosol medications and oxygen therapyntSet up and monitor equipment to ensure the patient is receiving the correct amount of oxygen at the correct ratentObserve and record patient status and progressntEducate patients and / or family members on how to properly take medication and use equipmentntPerform other duties as assigned within the scope of CRT practicennnRequired Essential Skills : nnntCritical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skillsntThe ability to read, write, & communicate in the English language is requiredntAbility to read / comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and proficiency in PC skillsntPhysical Abilities - Remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), pushing, pulling, bendingntInterpersonal Skills - To work effectively with a variety of personnel (professional and ancillary) to present a positive attitude and professionalismntTechnical / Motor Skills - Ability to grasp, fine manipulation, pushing / pulling and able to move about when assisting with procedures and / or using department equipment.ntMental Requirements - Must be able to cope with frequent contact with the general public, customers, and meeting deadlines under pressure.
