Willingness to travel throughout the Southeast United States, required. Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. This candidate should be highly skilled and experienced Wireless Communications Engineer with a strong background in telecommunications, particularly in In-Building Cellular and Public Safety Radio Distributed Antenna Systems. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in project design and development activities.
Duties / Responsibilities :
- Lead the selection of production hardware for projects.
- Develop and validate RF designs using iBwave software.
- Review and approve construction drawings, including system block diagrams, wiring diagrams, rack elevations, and conduit / cable routing drawings.
- Prepare and approve product specifications and related documentation.
- Write scope of work documents and equipment purchase specifications.
- Interface with the major wireless network operators and clients throughout the project life cycle.
- Review vendor data sheets to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Lead and manage teams of Engineers, Designers, and Drafters.
