Job Description

A growing Transportation Company is looking for a Claims Administrator to join its team. This position will provide an exciting opportunity to make an impact by influencing the rate of change as we continuously improve our current processes and execute projects to prepare for our future growth. This position is a great opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to building their Risk Management function. This position will work primarily in the corporate office; some remote work will be available for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Track and manage various claims concurrently with TPA’s and Lawyers
  • Provide claims analysis and updates to Executive leadership with recommendations for expediting claims resolution.
  • Execute ad hoc projects as needed as prioritized by the CFO and Executive Team

    • Qualifications and Strengths

  • 3 + years of successful claims management experience
  • Experience with Auto or Transportation Claims is a plus
  • Experience with worker’s compensation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Management of claims loss costs and loss expenses
  • Claims review experience with proven ability to keep all parties involved with claim resolution as appropriate
  • Actively execute appropriate claims activities to ensure consistent delivery of claims service
  • Optimal claims management as measured through aggressive action plans and overall administration as measured by reduction in the average amount paid and average age of cases at time of closing
