About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead its trade association, which is dedicated to promoting, advocating for, connecting, and educating the vibrant and diverse hospitality and tourism businesses in the region. The successful candidate will be responsible for strategic leadership, local advocacy, member engagement, financial oversight, and team management. This role involves shaping the organization's vision, advocating for industry-friendly policies, delivering value to member organizations, and fostering an inclusive community. The Executive Director will work closely with the Board of Directors to define the association's priorities, develop and execute annual goals, and ensure the organization's influence and financial health. Applicants for the Executive Director position should have a minimum of 10 years' leadership experience in hospitality, tourism, non-profit, or trade associations, with a proven track record in advocacy, member engagement, and strategic partnerships. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required, with an advanced degree being a plus. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, a strong relationship builder, and possess financial acumen with experience in budget management and revenue generation. Exceptional communication skills, a collaborative leadership style, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software are essential. Familiarity with the local hospitality industry is preferred, and the role demands a dynamic, entrepreneurial individual who can lead the organization in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
