Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Human Resources Director at our Carlsbad, NM location. The Human Resources Director will be responsible for developing and implementing HR policies, managing employee relations, and overseeing performance management processes within the organization. Additionally, the Director will focus on ensuring compliance with all labor and employment laws, fostering an inclusive workplace culture, and supporting the recruitment, training, and development of staff. The role requires strong leadership and organizational skills to ensure the success of the HR function while contributing to the overall mission of the New Mexico Center for Pain & Wellness.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Human Resources (HR) management, including team leadership and organizational skills
• Strong knowledge of HR Policies and Employee Relations to foster a positive and collaborative work environment
• Experience in developing and implementing Performance Management frameworks
• In-depth knowledge of Labor and Employment Laws to ensure compliance and mitigate risk
• Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred
• Experience in the healthcare or wellness industry is a plus
