Assistant Project Manager

Reporting into the lead Project Manager, the Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for :

  • Coordinating and managing all necessary project resources from start to finish on time and within budget in a highly collaborative environment.
  • Review plans, specifications, and client requirements.
  • Managing personnel development.
  • Communicating job expectations, enforcing policies & procedures, and managing & coaching employees.
  • Provide administrative guidance to the Site Superintendents.
  • Being a strategic problem solver who can add value to our customer's projects.
  • Coordinate correspondence between the design and construction team.
  • Managing budget and financial reporting, interpreting and analyzing reports to ensure adherence to project budget.

The successful Assistant Project Manager will have the following experience :

  • 3+ years of construction experience (non negotiable).
  • Experience in large ground up commercial projects.
  • Bachelors in Construction related field preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of scheduling, estimating, and cost principles.
  • Basic knowledge of project management software.
  • A mature professional with excellent judgment.
  • A highly entrepreneurial, self-motivated and results-oriented individual.
  • Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal) and intuitive interpersonal skills.
  • Strong time management skills, adaptable with ability to manage multiple priorities & meet deadlines, and keen attention to detail.
