Your Role on the Team

Position Summary :

Incumbent is responsible for all management functions related to the delivery of patient care, as well as the quality of nursing practice and the standards of care. Manages and directs all staff and functions in the unit while maintaining clinical nursing practice skills and unit specific expertise.

What It Takes to be Successful

Required Qualifications :

• Strong analytical skills to collect and analyze operational data
• Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
• Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
• Minimum 3 years experience working in Oncology or Infusion Center
• Knowledge of JCAHO and other regulatory requirements present in an acute care setting
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Demonstrated supervisory experience working in an acute care setting
• Demonstrated experience with budgetary processes including establishing, maintaining, and reporting income, expenses, and variances
• Current California RN license
• Current BLS certification
• Complete understanding of acuity levels for the patient population
• Chemotherapy administration experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Ability to work variable shifts including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to successfully identify priorities while managing multiple assignments simultaneously
• Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
