About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Integrator with a strong background in ophthalmology operations and a proven track record in a multi-site, large or complex practice environment. The ideal candidate will be a charismatic, growth-oriented leader with deep experience in ophthalmology or surgical care, capable of driving organic growth and championing the Vision / Traction Organizer. This role requires a clinically grounded individual who is a decisive strategist, a strong communicator, and unifying in their approach. The COO / Integrator will be responsible for leadership, management, collaboration, and cross-functional leadership, and must be adept at fostering communication and alignment across all departments.
Applicants for the COO / Integrator position at the company should have at least 5 years' experience in a similar role within an ophthalmology practice, with a preference for those who have worked in organizations with over $50M in revenue. The role demands a leader who is accountable, discerning, and a guide, with a focus on self-reflection, data-driven insights, and a relentless pursuit of excellence. Key responsibilities include driving organic growth, managing and developing leadership roles, overseeing the performance and growth of physicians and office managers, and expanding HR functions. The successful candidate will also be involved in strategic sales and revenue cycle optimization, and must be proficient in setting and tracking company KPIs. A BA / BS in business, health management, or a relevant degree is required, with an advanced degree and experience with the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) being preferred.
