Position : CNA or HHA (contract)

Location : Amarillo, TX

Compensation : $12-18 / hour

Hours : PRN Monday-Saturday, 8am - 8pm

We are looking for a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) or Home Health Aides (HHA) in Amarillo, TX to provide assistance in daily living and personal care services in patients' homes in accordance with a physician established care plan. This role is a 1099 contract opportunity. Patients' needs include PRN Monday-Saturday, 8am-8pm.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care within the patient's home, under the direction of the RN, and according to the Aide Plan of Care
• Appropriately reports changes in the patient's condition to the RN / the care team and documents pertinent information
• Practices in accordance with accepted infection control principles. Provides a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
• Provides necessary assistance to patients with light housekeeping, meal preparation, proper nutrition, and adequate fluid intake
• Promotes positive, supportive, and respectful communication with patients / clients, caregiver(s), families, and other employees
• Provides assistance to patients with safe transfers and ambulation per the Agency policies
• Completes yearly education hours
