job_description.job_card.job_descriptionProvide exceptional customer service at all times. Use product knowledge in servicing incoming customer calls and emails. Procure plumbing / heating / HVAC and specialty products and materials for customers. Effectively handle customer service issues Troubleshoot product technical issues or guide customer to correct expert Accurately process and maintain customer orders. Produce bids for customer approval Transfer products between branches for order fulfillment Meet sales and profit goals Understand and anticipate the needs of customers. Provide continuous phone coverage to effectively take care of customers and incoming calls. Maintain a clean and professional work environment. Apply active listening skills; paying attention to what customers are saying, being sure to understand their needs and asking appropriate questions in order to best enhance their purchasing experience. Achieve company set goals and objectives as well as consistently strive to exceed sales performance goals. Perform other responsibilities as directed. Counter sales experience required Familiarity with plumbing / heating / HVAC products, industry rules and regulations Ability to operate current software and hardware Results driven and customer focused Outgoing and personable Minimum of 3 years industry sales experience preferred High school diploma or GED required While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to, stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work The associate is subject to both environmental conditions. Activities occur inside and outside. Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and / or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.

Salary : $25.00 - $35.00 / hr
Job Summary : Reporting to the Executive Vice President of sales, the Inside Sales Representative will provide exceptional service to Plimpton and Hills customers over the phone and via email. Maintain and acquire an extensive knowledge of plumbing / heating / HVAC products in order to best anticipate the needs of the customer. Effectively handle customer service issues, produce bids, process orders, procure or transfer products for orders, and meet set sales goals.
