Client Immigration Representative

Responsible for efficient onsite coordination of various employment-based visa processes and in assisting with the hiring and retention of foreign nationals while achieving full compliance with government laws and regulations.

Primary Responsibilities :

  • Providing status updates to employees via email, telephone and in-person.
  • Responding to emails and phone calls from managers, foreign nationals and recruiters and triaging requests in a timely fashion.
  • Providing immigration status letters.
  • Providing the Immigration law firm's legal team with relevant information to start / continue cases
  • Communicating with managers to provide time frames and cost projections for visa projects
  • Meeting with Foreign Nationals and Managers to review the Permanent Residency process
  • Overseeing the administration of the PERM program
  • Working with the attorneys to gather metrics about case volume, number of visa transactions and the number of individuals in each stage of visa processing.

Secondary Responsibilities :

  • I-9 audit support, including the download of documentation from client's system.
  • PAF reviews.
  • Conduct I-9 audit under the guidance of the Government Strategies Team.
  • Qualifications :

  • Minimum of 1 year of immigration, customer service, legal, or related field experience.
  • Prior HR experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
  • Ability to function well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Sensitivity to confidential information
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow, while escalating as needed
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Acute attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to deal effectively with a variety of individuals at all organizational levels
  • Creative, flexible, and innovative team player
  • Working Conditions :

  • Able to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time.
  • Able to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist and reach on a daily basis.
  • Able to perform general office administrative activities : copying, filing, delivering and using the telephone.
  • Able to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally.
  • Regular and on-time attendance.
  • Must be able to prioritized, schedule and complete testing required for multiple applications with overlapping schedules.
  • A certain degree of creativity and flexibility is required.
  • Hours may exceed 40 hours per week.
  • Occasional travel by conventional means including aircraft, motor vehicle and the like within the region and to other locations as required.
